The City of Augsburg has established a central online daycare portal for all Augsburg childcare facilities to make it easier for parents to find a childcare place. Registrations for our daycare center will now be processed exclusively through this Kita Portal. You can access the portal here or via the City of Augsburg’s homepage.
As a rule, we hold an open day every January, giving you the opportunity to get to know us and our facility.
The registration deadline for the new daycare year, which begins in September, is set each February by the City of Augsburg. Allocation of places takes place thereafter. During this period, we may invite individual families to a personal meeting to get to know each other better. Admission and rejection letters are sent out in April. The specific dates are also determined by the Department of Education of the City of Augsburg and are the same for all Augsburg daycare centers.
If you receive a rejection, you may register again if you still require a childcare place. Your application will remain on file should a place become available during the year. Please note, however, that we will only contact you if a place actually becomes available and is to be reassigned.
If you receive an acceptance, we will arrange an appointment with you to sign the childcare contract. Before the start in September, we invite you and your child to attend a short introductory session.
